Cassidy's Grad Photos

A very delayed graduation celebration (because 2020), I recently took grad photos for my friend Cassidy. From all of our shenanigans living on campus together to our newfound love of plants, I'm glad to have this one in my life!
My favorite thing to do in these sessions is to incorporate each person's personality into their photos, and for Cass that meant switching our her heels for chacos!
And of course, it wouldn't be 2020 without some mask shots!

India - Kabini Safari / #JessAbroad

In the spirit of my recent inspiration to reconnect with photography, I decided to hunt through some of my favorite experiences behind the lens since I found it in 2014.
One that definitely takes the cake is my visit to a safari in Kabini National Forest in Karnataka, India. Hanging out of a safari jeep to be as close to a tiger as possible? Uh, yeah, when can I go again?!

"Grad Photos" & Surprise Proposal

Last week I had the incredibly special honor of photographing my best friend's surprise proposal! Her (now fiancé) and I hatched a scheme a few months ago, planning a "graduation photoshoot" that really doubled as an excuse to get them out, looking spiffy, and together.
Amazingly, and much to our disbelief, she was completely surprised! Congratulations to these two, and thanks for letting me be part of the fun!

As most 20-something-year-olds do, Julie and I have decided our Christmas tradition is going to the Zoo. Consider this my official application to NatGeo Wild.
